I have found Andrew's brother Joshua leonard (b 1832 TN died 12 Feb 1905 Owen Co Ind) who fought for Company A, 43rd Infantry Regiment Indiana but I can't find Andrew. Andrew was born (24 Aug 1839 in Indiana but was buried 20 Mar 1899 Johnson City TN). They lived in Clay Co at the time but I think they might of traveled between the two states. Andrew's wife was Eliza Ann Conley B 1837 Ind. There is a chance he didn't join at all.
