I am excited to hear from you!
I have been trying to contact you concerning Lieut. Norvell for several weeks now.
He is indeed buried in Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie but according to his obituary he died in a soldier's home in Kentucky and was brought to Muncie by his daughter, Mrs. Charles B. Smith. His obituary also states that he was awarded "a medal for bravery which is now in the posession of his son."
I have visited the grave several times and decorated it on Memorial Day. He is buried with his wife by his side as well as his daughter.
