I have no way of checking out this information for you, but I would almost bet that Henry and Walter were were either brothers or cousins. They both came from Crawfordsville, Indiana. They also entered the service about the same time. I did a little research on Walter and found out that there was a Captain Walter B. Carr that served in Company D of the 135th Indiana Infantry. He was a member of the McPherson Post of the Grand Army of the Republic in Crawfordsville. According to my information he died April 13th, 1913.

I've also added a couple of other soldiers from the 58th Indiana with the Carr name, I figured you might want to look them up too. They consist of Andrew, John and Samuel.
