I am looking for any information as to his parents names or how I can trace his ancestors. Allen Anderson enlisted 07.31.1861 he reenlisted 01.01.1864 then married Sarah Freeman on 02.16.1864 he is later listed as a deserter on 02.28.1864. he and his wife Sarah went to Canada and there they had 3 children. one whom is my great-great-greatgrandfather. I have not been able to find the date if any of his return to the USA. I have found his wedding lisence but have been unable to find any more info of his ancestors. He was born either in TN of IN in 1942. If anyone has more information I would greatly appreciate it. please write in the subject line of an email geneology thanks fm
