And by all means, check with the Indiana State Library/Archives. They have a superb Civil War Collection!
There is a site on the web that lists the manuscript sources available in Indiana by regiment. If you Google "Indiana" "Civil War" "Manuscripts" it shoudl bring it up. That site could be very helpful to you. Good luck.
