Hello,

I know that the state of Indiana purchased 30,000 Enfields in 1862.
What I need to know is: were they the rifles (2 band, w/saber bayonets) or the rifle musket (3 band, w/socket bayonet).
Also, did Indiana also purchase the accoutrements (belts, cartridge boxes, cap boxes, etc).
I have also read that Indiana issued officers of state regiments swords (M1850 foot officers swords?) and revolvers (M1851 Colt Navy). Is this true, and if so, does anyone know who or where they were purchased from?
Any and all help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
