I am looking for information on William Morris Ingols who was born in New York. I believe the family lived in Indiana during the Civil War. William died Dec. 13, 1862 in Galatin, Sumner County, TN. I searched the graveyards in that area & visited the website. I was emailed a note that they had no record of him & he might have been buried at home. I don't know his unit but I am sure he was a soldier, or what else would he be doing in TN in 1862?
