Hello, I am wondering if anyone out there can tell me with absolute certainty where the 107th Illinois was positioned at the Battle of Franklin? Jacob Cox indicates the regiment was between the 23rd Michigan and 129th Indiana along with two companies of the 183rd Ohio who were positioned on the 23rd Michigan's left. However, Orlando Moore indicates the 183rd Ohio troops were placed directly between the Michigan and Indiana troops which seems to indicate the 107th Illinois was actually to the left of the 129th Indiana. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I would be indebted to any source material.
