Could some of you Hoosiers help me with these cavalry rosters? I am looking for the identity of two "men" killed in conjuction with the battle of Chickamauga, but I no longer have access to the Ind. Adj. General's report. One man was mortally wounded on 9/13/1863 and left at a private residence near Alpine, GA.; he was in Co. G, 4th Ind. Cav. The other was killed between 9/18-20/63 and was in Co. L of the 2nd Ind. Cav. They should be the only combat fatalities in their companies during those times. I got that information from regimental summaries of the battle of Chickamauga as written in the OR's. Thanks for any help. Joe
