Thanks, my galvanized yankee is one of those. He was either Irish or Irish American, by the name of John Conway from Mississippi. I am going to have to acquire his service record from the 32nd Indiana so that I can finish the story of the Confederate company from which he was captured and sent to Camp Morton along with several others from his company.
