Hi, Indiana! I'm still looking for any and all info/references to the camel that the 43rd MS had from Iuka through the Siege of Vicksburg. Many Hoosiers served at Vicksburg and saw or knew of this once-famous beast of burden! Any info appreciated! -- Jim Huffman
