I am hoping to find help finding an ancestors grave site. Robert H. Crawford of Martinsville, Indiana joined the 148th Indiana, Co H. on February 14, 1865 and was mustered out on September 5, 1866 in Indianapolis. On October 13, 1866 he enlisted in Indianapolis in the U. S. Army, (Regiment and company, unknown to me), and on July 21, 1868 he died of Intermittent Fever in Monroe, Louisiana. I have been unable to find and furter records indicating a burial site. If anyone can help with the search, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
