I have a geneology book of my family that goes back before the civil war, and I found that my 3 greats grandpa Andrew Haynes served in the 100th regiment infantry. I searched the civil war indiana site and it listed in the bibliography that the indiana historical society has "papers" from Andrew Haynes. I was very interested in finding those papers, but I couldn't find anything in the digital images section, or any other area. I was wondering if anyone knew where I should go to find the papers, or if I should just go to the IHS library in Indianapolis. If anyone knows where to look for these kind documents, I would like them to respond.
