Am trying to find any Civil War data on Clinton (?)O. Young. Clinton was born abt. 1834 in probably Indiana. He is on the 1850 & 1860 census in Madison Co., IND.

Ancestry.com has a pension file index record on him, but it is not very readable. Was able to get a couple of #'s off of it: application # 1399434, certificate # 11682_6, state filed Indiana. In searching ancestry.com I can't find any other Civil War data on him.

I couldn't make out the date on it, I want to say 1865 but am not real sure I was able to read it correctly.

Any help greatly appreciated.
