Kincaid is buried at Stones River National Cemetery (see link). Most guys were buried where they were killed/died though some were able to be sent home. After the war most of these dead that weren't sent home were moved to what are now the National Cemeteries. An interesting book called "This Republic of Suffering" does a great job covering this subject.
