I am looking for letters, diaries, journals, newspaper articles, and reminiscences by soldiers and officers from the following Indiana regiments for the period of the Vicksburg Siege, May 20-July 4, 1863:

4th Division, XVI Army Corps. 53rd Indiana.

9th Division, XIII Army Corps. 54th Indiana.

12th Division, XIII Army Corps. 11th Indiana, 24th Indiana, 34th Indiana, 46th Indiana, and the 47th Indiana. This includes Brigadier General Alvin Peterson, 12th Division, Commanding who was elected as Governor in 1888 and died while in office.
