Hello.. I have some interesting information about Leroy Key. He was indeed a prisoner at Andersonville. According to my research, he was the appointed hangman to hang several Andersonville prisoners after their fellow prisoners had a trial and found them guilty of being ringleaders of a gang who routinely attacked and stole food and supplies from other prisoners.
