Nolen/Nolan/Nolin/Nowlins

I am kin to several Nolan's of various spellings who fought for either Illinois or Tennessee or both in the Civil War. Are there individual records for soldiers of Illinois on line? I need to check where they enlisted and ages in several cases. I have looked at Fold3, but they are not there, yet. I am interested in their units and enlistments to see if and how often did they fight their Confederate kin. I know one fought at the first and second Franklin and Nashville. There southern kin were also at these battles.
William Nolin (Nolen) Company I, 6th Regiment, Illinois Cavalry
William H. Nolin 10th Regiment, Illinois Cavalry
William Nolen 6th Regiment, Illinois Cavalry
John Nolin 34th Regiment, Illinois Infantry
These and several more that I am looking at. The Nolens moved to Franklin, TN in the 1850s and then to Illinois. As near as I can tell this was some family rift over the reasons for the war. Not sure yet. Have good data on the Confederate kin. One was killed early in the war. I can not tell whether he was Union or Confederate. Name William N Nolen 1822-1862. This kin was listed as deaf, but had a family. Lived outside of Lebanon, TN.
