Thank you so much for posting about the 38th! My 2nd great grandfather, George Milton Wells was in Co. F, 38th Illinois Infantry. I would heartily encourage the publishing of these letters. One of my favorite things to do is reading first hand accounts of the War. As I read the diaries or the memoirs, I get a sense of the War and what it was really like for the men on a daily basis Again, thank you! Allen
