There isn't a cemetery in San Leandro.Which is Alameda County. There are two in Oakland and four in Hayward to the south.Of course there is always a private cemetery Crow Canyon pretty rural in those days. There is a Naval Air station at Alameda.Does the Obit say what religion? Was he a Mason?Do you have an address of the Chapel where the service took place?Does it list Family? There is a National Cemetery (Military)at Golden Gate which is across the bay over the Dumbarton bridge in San Bruno.I'm not sure if the bridge was there in 1919.Still you could circumvent the bay for a military funeral and VA stone.Have you checked V.A.Records? If they supplied the gravestone there would be a record. There is a record in the CA. Archives System of a Lyman Bridges but, you have to pay.I've never heard of Bridges Battery.Where was it from.I spent many a year in this area as a young man.I will be returning in Sept.No promises but,I can ask around.
