My 2X great grandfather, Levi McBride, served in the 5th Illinois Cavalry during the Civil War. I recently found him on a Illinois roster for the Spanish-American War with his brother, Camm McBride. Could anyone here give me any ideas where I can find more information on Levi and Camm McBride's detailed sevice in the Spanish-American War? Also, I'm wondering if Camm died in that war? I cannot find him anywhere after that time frame.
