Two men of Co. G 13th Illinois Cavalry: Abraham Draper and George Bowyer, were captured by Missouri rebels in Dec. 1862 in Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. Their Complied Service Records have no mention of this and, though the 13th Illinois Cavalry was in Mo. at the time, don't know why these men were where they were. Does anyone else have info on this event?
