Once again I think you hit the nail on the head. There were many from what we here in Illinois call Little Egypt and many of them went south to join up and after the EP was issued many in Federal units deserted. Not that they were cowardly or anything, they just disagreed with the administration. I think our friend just used the wrong word, In my opinion. We must each follow our heart in matters. I think they were for the most part all honorable men.
