Thank you for your reply. I knew that you would see Ruth's post and respond as you usually do with both insight and wisdom. Your statement about being taken to the warf to be put on a boat makes me wonder if perhaps he was held in a local temporary camp and then housed on a boat until it moved up or down stream to deliver his somewhere. I tried the state as you can see in a previous post with out any luck. Once again, thank you.
