I checked with the state archives today and they only show holding facilities for holding Confederates at Alton, Rock Island, Camp Douglas near Chicago and Camp Butler near Springfield. That does not mean that prisoners were not held in other places. It just means that there is no state record. There is a lady named Ann who lives in that area. Maybe she will see this post and contact you. Or perhaps Jim Martin will see it and know who I refer to and forward her this thread in order to help you with your question.
