Thank you, Frank, for your prompt reply. The Hensleys, Blakeneys, and Adams families seemed to be a tightly knit group living in the Danville-Westville-Georgetown areas. My poor great-great grandfather...no one seemed to know who he was, even then. I have hopes that it will eventually be settled by matching the names of the wife and children in the records to the proper man; however, I am relatively new to genealogy and I have no idea how to access those records to determine whether it was Isaac C., Isaac N., or Will Adams. Your information regarding William the wagonmaker is most interesting because according to the story handed down by my mother (which may, or may not be accurate), my Adams was on his way home when he died of his wounds! If it wasn't so sad, my search for "The Adams Family" would be almost comical. Norma
