I am researching two brothers of the 45th Illinois Infantry,
Roscoe Patterson was with A regiment and his brother, Thomas was in B regiment. Thomas it seems was wounded and taken to Mound City, Illinois. That is a passed along rumor and Roscoe died at Shilo battlement. Is there any information etc on them?
