Bob,

I feel the weight. They are more than "just an acount of the war". When I look at the letters and think that they were written by his own hand, 147 years ago, recounting his experiance, I understand that I must take care of them.
As stated, each letter is in a "acid free" sleeve and I do keep them in a safe....Rest assured !
