I'm looking for any information on Adolphus F. Maxfield. He supposedly joined the 147 Ill. Inf. out of Chicago in Feb. 1865 at age 16 mustered out in Jan. 1866 in Springfield. He moved in 1880 to Vermilion Parish La.and died here in 1904. He married Eliza Houston in 1867 in Mt. Vernon Ohio. Had 4 kids.
