I'm hoping you can help me again.
My gr-gr-uncle died from disease in Rome Georgia. I did get his medical papers from NARA awhile back, but we do not know where he is buried at. Is there a more complete set of records I could get from History Sites that might give more detail about him and where he might be laid to rest?
I would also like to recommend that anyone who wants military records, use History Sites. I received much more detailed info about my gr-gr-grandfather during the Civil War than I could have hoped for.
