I am looking for biographical information on 4 men who have reliefs in the Vicksburg National Military Park. Col. Amory K. Johnson of the 28th, Col. George W. Neely of the 131st, Col. William W. Sanford of the 48th and Col. Melancthon Smith of the 45th. When and where born, family, where they lived, work, life before and after the war - if they lived, death and burial.
