Confederate, I don't know if you have been watching Chicago,Illinois weather the last week or so?Even keeping in mind "global warming" it has been below 0 for the period temp. this morning -9 yesterday -15 not raising above 0 windchill even worse.This is the type of weather experienced upon the arrival of the first prisoners captured Feb.1862,Ft.'s Henry & Donelson and thoughout the balance of the war.In South Texas it's to be around 70 today. I had a fire going yesterday at 50....Just a thought....For an old man I thank God for Dixie!Brrrr.
