I am in the process of editing the "official" 22nd Iowa Infantry regimental history, prepared by regimental adjutant Samuel Pryce circa 1900. It was never published, but with the assistance of Clark Kenyon at the Press of the Camp Pope Bookshop, we hope to have the edited version in print sometime late this year or early next year.

If anyone has any images related to the 22nd Iowa, or primary written materials, and would consider allowing their use in this project, please contact me. This edition will likely serve as the standard regimental history for the foreseeable future (as Pryce and the regimental association intended), so I hope to make it as comprehensive as possible.
