Occasionally I do Google searches on family members just to see what I might run across out there on the web. I Googled Franklin Reyner the other night and found his diary in an old listing on Ebay.

Franklin Reyner married my gggrandfather's sister. As did two of his brothers. I would give about anything to read that diary but it is priced way out of my league. I tried emailing the person who listed it but have not gotten a response yet. Maybe someone out there with interest in the 9th Iowa can get a shot at it and then give me a little peak at what Dr Reyner had to say.
