For those of you that really care about the heritage of Iowa, due to budget problems the Iowa Battle Flag Project is being threatened with closure starting July 1st, 2009. This means the firing of all staff and the collection becoming off limits to any and all researchers.

If you would not like to see this happen please go to the State of Iowa web site and secure the address of the governor and let him know that you would like for this not to happen.
