Wow thanks so much. I had no information and now I have him identified. A little history on it. I bought 'The Lyon Campaign by Ware' (very good book that I enjoyed) and in it is written his name W C Kimberly ( I thought the C was an L) and his address in Marshalltown. The date of Nov 8 1909 and "This book is a present from my daughter Anna Maude". WC Kimberly I believe served in the 1st IA Cav. Now I have a concrete place to start, I can't thank you enough.
