Thank you, George. I was under the impression that Rock Island's first POWs were from the battle of Chattanooga. There were so many federal POW camps - thousands of pages to search through.

Since the national archives stop at Louisville...is it a safe assumption that there is nothing to be found in the microfilm prison records?
