Hugh -
I don't have the service records. :( I have oral histories I am trying to verify and source.

Hubbard was captured 3 times during the Civil war according to family history: once at Wolfs Run Shoals (no clue how he got back to his unit), again at Trevillian Station (the Venus Point release), and the last time at Civilian Station (sent first to Libby Prison and then to Andersonville). After release from Andersonville, he was sent to Camp Melon and then to Baltimore, with his final discharge happening in Detroit in April 1865.

The online verification I have for the first two captures and releases comes from an online website called SeekingMichigan.org. It carries Civil War military history for the state of Michigan in the form of an out-of-copyright book series digitized and searchable online, among other records specific to Michigan genealogy research. I was hoping for service records more complete than the less than 100 word paragraph available online.

Thanks for your prompt response.

Kathy
