Re: Andersonville picture 1864 and an ID?

As you know there were close to 13,000 soldiers who died at Andersonville. One Dailey just to throw out a name was Matthew Dailey of Company I of the 36th Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers. He died on August 25, 1864 and is buried in grave 6797. This soldier's death may be just a little too early to be the one your looking for. If you will call Andersonville the NPS could be able to answer your question as they have database of the prisoners there. Their phone # is (229) 924-0343. I believe that Alan Marsh is still the director there and should be able to point you in the right direction. Thx Dennis
