My Gr gr grandfather was in GA 14th infantry Company K. He died in 1916 in Ft. Worth, TX. He was 18 when he joined the war and afterwards moved to Louisiana and met his wife and married there (1869) and had 4 or 5 kids there (including my Gr grandmother) then to Arkansas had a couple more kids then to TX where they had more kids (15 in all) and raised their family.
He fought under Generals Edward Thomas, A.P. Hill and Robert E. Lee in the Light Div.
