My "list" of the Immortal Six Hundred is not mine at all. I use "Immortal Captives," authored by Mauriel Phillips Joslyn, White Mane Publishing, 1996. Appendix F lists the Immortal 600 and shows Bezaliel G. Brown, Capt., I/7th Va Inf., captured 3 July 1863, Gettysburg. In the book, there is one reference to Brown as being a member of mess of 12 men on 26 October, according to the diary of Capt. Henry Dickson, 2nd Va. Cav.
