Thanks all for the info. If you find anything else please send it on. I have another question that you might be of help. Wm S is in the 1850 &1860 census in Yazoo, Miss. wife is Mary Frances, there was a son William P Edmondson b. 1850, that joined the military & i think he deserted. I cannot find any further info on him except he was supposed to have build his brothers house in Tucson, Az. in 1897.
The record that stated he deserted is hard to read and possibly there is more info some where. Thanks again. Fran
