i have a copy of his confederat service records and they state he was killed8/28/1862 but i have also seen other records that show hw was only wounded on that date and then he was captured. i am not sure which one is correct. how can i find out? i have found nothing on him that states he was ever at any prison or that he was exchanged. i only have found that he was wounded and capturedand other records show him as killed. any information will be greatly appriciated.
