Immortal 600 Camp

We are organizing an SCV Camp in Richmond Hill, Georgia to be named “The Immortal 600 Camp”. Richmond Hill is in Bryan County, adjacent to Chatham County where Ft. Pulaski is located. By its close proximity to Ft. Pulaski, the main focus of the Camp will be the Immortal 600 and our on-going attempts to have the graves of the “13” properly marked with headstones. Our other mission will be to highlight Federal abuse of Confederates in all Northern POW camps, and especially Pt. Lookout, as the President of the Descendants of Pt. Lookout, William Hagin, will be one of our Charter Members.

As a descendant of one of the “13” buried in unmarked graves at Ft. Pulaski, any male member of your family aged 12 or older qualifies as a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and can be a Charter Member of the new Camp and have his name listed on the Charter. We plan to have the Charter issued in January, 2010, and will complete the list of Charter Members in the next few weeks to allow time for mailing to Division and GHQ for approval. If you are interested in being a Charter Member, please contact me at (912) 585-9144 or asp3@planttel.net . I have a new mailing address:
