Appealed to National Archives for info and just got a few pages of JS Cunningham roster cards. Gave no into I already had.
One historian told me that I would have to visit the National Archives myself or hire someone to do research there.
I think this may be my ancestor, but have been trying to prove it. Need more info, full name, where from, etc.
Some said release/exchange records might give more detailed info.
I had gotten copies of original prison records, but didn't say much.
The info might be at the National Archives, but the people in charge there couldn't help me more.
