Thanks. I have these records with family stories about both of these brother's experiences in the War for Southern Independence. A. J. is Davis Andrew Jackson Elliott who remained in Henry County, Alabama after the War and died on the Elliott Homeplace at Camp Springs in 1913.

John Elliott is John Elbert Elliott, I, who was 17 upon entering the Confederate Army. (Both joined May 10, 1862)John Elliott moved to Smith County in East Texas circa 1890. The descendants of these brothers are still very close and visit across the miles often.
