Sara,
A short story about General Lee's ancestors if I may. I work at the local airport and we have a contract to fuel transient goverment aircraft. Anyway, one day we have a flight of F-18's drop in to see us and I noticed that the name tag of one of the fliers was FitzHugh Lee. I asked him if he was of the famous Lee line. He replied that indeed he was but like all of us, he to had to pay to visit the Lee-Custis Mansion.
I really felt honored to meet someone of that stature. I might add that he was every inch the gentelman and officer that you would expect. His family as you know goes all the way back to the Revolutionary War. His great grandfather or Robert E's Father was George Washington's commander of Dragoons. What a blood line. Thanks for letting me share that with you.
Frank
