Louisiana Brigade of AOT prisoners

I am putting together a manuscript on the Adams-Gibson Louisiana Brigade of the Army of Tennessee. While digging in the CSRs of the ten Louisiana units that make up this brigade I found it fascinating the number of men who took the Oath before the end of the war and/or joined U.S. service. This sparked my interest to learn more about the prisons they were sent to and now I have decided to devote an entire chapter to their experience in northern prisons.

One aspect Im hoping to track down are registers/rolls of exchanged prisoners. For example a lot of the Louisianians captured at Shiloh and the Kentucky Campaign were exchanged at Vicksburg in early November or Aikens Landing around November 11, 1862. I'd like to locate sources that list who was exchanged...anyone got their fingers deep into this subject that I may pick your brain for help?

Another question: In relation to taking the Oath. Did prisons keep records of who took the Oath at their locations?

Rolls when new prisoners brought in?

Im looking for anything and everything in relation to my boys.
