Hi,

I had to find the document. It states on his oath paper a date of April 28, 1865. I also have a document form the Genereal Services Admin that he was in the 22nd Regiment of Al Company "H" Dragoond (Calvary) kist him as a Calvary Volunteer for the Confederates.

It states as follows word for word,

Headquarter Calvary Corps, M. D. M.

Macon,Ga Apr 28, 1865

I the undersigned Mr. Smith ----- a Segt of the 22, Regiment of Al. Co "H" do solemly swear that I will not bear arms against the United States of America or give any information or do any military duty what soever untill regularly exchanged as a prisoner of war. Should the capture of the Garrison of the city of Macon be legal the parole will be binding, if not they will be released from all obligations

Description: Height 5'-9", Hair dark, Eyes Hazel. Complexion Dark
I certify that the above parole was given by me on this date above written.
