Last summer while visiting Grandparents in Evansville,Ind. I noticed in the veterans section of the Oak Hill Cemetery a couple of tombstones that read Gunboat " Brilliant". Was that a tinclad or ironclad and was she at Vicksburg,Ms. during the siege? I wished I had written down the names of the sailors on the tombstones!
